WHY I RUN
As a musician I spend a considerable amount of my time alone exploring the boundaries of my creative potential. The hours I spend on the trail are essential to helping me clear my mind from this often emotionally-exhausting process. I run to determine the outer limits of both my body and mind and to find balance between the two. I run to write and I run to erase.
2016 Cascade Crest 100: It was my first 100 miler and one of those magical days where everything broke right. A true rarity for me!
2017: Race/Adventure goals/plans:
-Races; Gorge 100k, Squamish 50/50, IMTUF 100 Miler
- Adventure goals; complete my running of every trail in Olympic National Park (175 of ~600 mi so far)
